Network Security Engineer

The Information Security Specialist role will work as a mid-level Network Security Engineer and report to the Infrastructure and Operations Security Team Leader.

The Day-to-Day:

• Support the Global Security Infrastructure of the firm
• Use technologies to manage risk in the environment
• Create templates, processes and workflows while working with IT/Technology teams and Project Management teams
• Develop process to support departmental and company goals
• Design upgrades of existing security infrastructure
• Projects - Work with the business and IT to develop or integrate systems while addressing and reducing risk
• Participate in team on-call rotation as needed

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working in a Network Security role with a strong focus on Firewall Technology in an enterprise environment
• Advanced experience supporting Palo Alto Firewalls with Panorama (physical and virtual platforms); firewall policy development and deployment
• Experience deploying policy and supporting for Prisma Access (SASE)
• Experience supporting firewall policy in IaaS cloud environments – Azure or AWS (Terraform, CI/CD pipeline)
• Analyze risk associated with onboarding new applications/technology
• Can support PKI (SSL/TLS/) protocols
• Solid foundational understanding of IP routing/switching concepts
• Experience deploying policy and supporting SASE VPN solutions
• Experience supporting micro-segmentation platforms such as Illumio or Guardicore
• Solid knowledge in troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol; packet capture analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark

Compensation:

• $110,000 - $165,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
