Overview

Fisher Investments is a privately-held investment management firm who manages portfolios for high-net-worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions. We are now searching for a highly talented Audio Visual Technician to join our Help Desk team in Camas, WA in a Contract-to-hire assignment. Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the regular maintenance, testing and operations of a/v systems which includes: in-house audio, microphones, projectors, screens and TVs; interacts with contracted AV support vendors to ensure system is maintained and any system changes are properly implemented; is the primary point of A/V contact for daily meetings and firm events which includes: the delivery, installation, operation and retrieval of A/V equipment, as well as scheduling resources and answering customer questions
•Provides helpdesk and trouble call support
•PC Desktop Support (hardware/software)
•Establish network connectivity and PC hardware/software configuration; assist with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment and connectivity issues
•Support third-party software applications such as Excel, Word, Access
•Keep team’s incident tracking system accurate and up-to-date
•Address requests in priority order and tracks through to resolution and follow-up
•Assist business experts in needs analysis and preparation of service requests
•Assist in developing and improving the Help Desk’s efficiency and customer service rating
•Maintain a thorough inventory of equipment and orders equipment and services for employee business usage
•Integrate third-party devices such as scanners, printers and monitors

 

Qualifications:
•BA degree or equivalent or combination of education and hands on experience
•A+ certified or working toward A+ certification preferred
•1-2 years Help Desk experience preferred
•Financial Services industry experience a plus
•1-3 year experience supporting Audio/Visual Systems
•Ability to lift, transport and assemble helpdesk and/or audio/visual equipment
•Analytical and problem solving skills
•Excellent customer service and oral communications skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating system
•Ability to answer telephone and respond accurately and courteously to inquiries
•Ability to work independently and prioritize work based upon business needs
