Finding the right words to inspire, engage and stir changes in behavior is incredibly difficult.  It takes creativity, perseverance and guts.  Being a Copywriter in Employee Engagement means it’s your job to find the words which inspire employees to do more, to challenge themselves and help employees understand our firm’s culture and values.  A great writer can break down highly conceptual concepts into digestible pieces. It’s a constant search for simplicity, using storytelling, design and creativity. 


The Opportunity:

Engagement is always a choice. Your role will be helping employees make that choice by making the firm’s purpose, goals and culture relatable on a daily basis. You will be hands on in creating marketing materials, campaigns, presentations and firm wide communications. You’ll be expected to provide ideas for creative ways we can surprise and delight our global employees and we help strengthen their connection to the firm. You’ll also play a critical role in driving our content media strategy online to attract and recruit new employees from across the globe.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Drive engagement for our employees by communicating our culture, our vision, our values and behaviors that will make them successful
  • Provide copy for Human Capital advertisements and other marketing materials specifically focused on writing and creation to be used across social media, web and email
  • Maintain all copy for Human Capital marketing materials including creation and updating
  • Strategize and create marketing materials for distribution across the employee base with direction from the Employee Engagement Manager and the Chief Human Capital Officer
  • Continue to develop the Employee Ambassador program internally and externally to drive engagement firm-wide
  • Provide input and execution for international Human Capital Content
  • Team up with graphic designers and collaborate on how to execute content and copy
  • Assist with Employee Engagement operational tasks as needed

Your Qualifications:

  • In this role, you will learn employee engagement, but you have previous experience copywriting and influencing behaviors or action
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex messages in writing across tones and styles
  • Past success collaborating with other creatives, designers and management
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines with multiple coinciding projects
  • The courage to try new things, fail miserably, dust yourself off and try all over again
