Join our leadership team and help take the 401(k) Solutions department to the next level!

 

Our 401(k) clients have varying needs which are often underserved. This makes knowledge a critical component of our entire department’s success. The more we know about our prospects the more we can strategize how we can help them. As the Sales Development Representative Team Lead you will be responsible for staffing, training, coaching, inspiring and developing a team responsible for gathering prospect knowledge and up-funnel, soft prospecting. This is a new team where the goals and objectives change frequently, requiring adaptability to keep your team coordinated and informed.

 

Your Sales Development Representative team is responsible for making outbound calls to business owners/executives to:

  • Gather valuable 401(k) plan intelligence
  • Uncover sales opportunities – Set Discovery call appointments for Business Development Team
  • Improve our potential client database

The Day-to-Day:

  • Leading from the front – make and coach live calls
  • Building and maintaining appropriate headcount. Full-time and part-time
  • Working well in a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Helping build new processes and refine established ones
  • Gaining an understanding of business and compensation modeling
  • Implementing Human Capital development strategies
  • Creating and running programs and contests to drive your team’s performance

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Experience hitting production goals and key metrics on a consistent basis
  • A history of proactively approaching problem solving and team building
  • Series 65 license a plus, although the Sales Development Representative Team Leader will not provide any advice or recommendations on investments
  • Strong preference for those with prior management experience, previous B2B experience, and sales experience

This new position has quickly become an important part of our prospecting and data gathering efforts – all focused on short/long term growth in managed 401(k) AUM. As the Sales Development Representative Team Leader you will be challenged and stretched to develop your own skills and leadership abilities. Your success will require you to create what’s next for your team and lead your team and the department from the front.
