As a Prospect Development Associate you’ll have the opportunity to work within our 401(k) Solutions group, building relationships with our prospective clients to learn more about their retirement plan needs.

The Prospect Development Associate is on the front line of market research and intelligence about our prospective clients. Your job is to build rapport with key decision makers at small businesses by understanding what makes them tick and gathering information along the way; helping us build better relationships with prospective clients and deliver more targeted value on topics that matter to them.


A successful Prospect Development Associate considers themselves a people person and has a natural curiosity to learn about others and their needs. This is not a commissioned role and you don’t have to worry about sales quotas. You will connect and build relationships with small businesses and act as a resource to provide industry related information and research as appropriate.

The retirement plan space can be a complex and confusing market for small businesses and employee participants to navigate – our mission is to work with these individuals to better their employee retirement plans, reduce their investment related liability, and create transparency in plan costs.


Your efforts will help these small businesses and just as importantly the individual participants prepare for their long term retirement readiness.


It requires providing phenomenal service to these businesses and their employees, delivering best-in-breed investment education and options, as well as acting in our clients’ best interest—all working to raise the standard of excellence in this small business market.

What we’re looking for:
•College Degree
•Motivation to connect with as many businesses as possible over the phone
•Desire to help improve an underserved market
•Strong communication skills and strong conversationalist
•Passion to be part of a rapidly growing team helping thousands of Americans with their retirement readiness


Although it’s not required it’s even better if you can bring business-to-business sales experience. While you’re not actually selling, you can use your B2B experience to successfully navigate through the 401(k) world.
