Job Description


Fisher Investments is a privately-held investment management firm with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Portland, OR Metro Area that manages portfolios for high-net-worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions. Our Corporate Finance Department is now seeking a highly talented finance individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Financial Analyst in our Woodside, CA office.


Corporate Financial Analysts are responsible for creating and maintaining financial analysis and reports, and may partner with other business units performing more specialized functions within the Corporate Finance Department.


The Day-To-Day

  • Calculate, analyze, and audit significant amounts of data in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports, variance analysis and commentary
  • Support business partners with ad hoc financial requests
  • Produce operational reports of performance measures and metrics for management
  • Help develop and implement processes and procedures which increase team effectiveness
  • Serve as the team’s subject matter expert by being the initial point of contact for questions on systems, policies and procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • 3+ years previous work experience in FP&A or accounting preferred
  • Advanced Excel and database skills including modeling
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Corporate
  • Finance, IT resources, and other departments at all levels of the organization
  • Must possess high degree of professionalism and strong customer service skills including a high level of discretion, integrity and commitment to confidentiality
    Prior experience using BI tools such as OutlookSoft, Hyperion, Essbase or Cognos is a plus
