Fisher Investments is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our 401(k) Solutions Team. Your opportunity to make an impact in a high growth firm has never been better!


As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will oversee the development, management and ongoing relationship management of a range of unique referral partnerships. You will identify 401(k) referral partnerships, build relationships, and negotiate mutually agreeable referral arrangements.

Our 401(k) B2B Referral Partnership Program Manager will be building and driving the process for engaging and partnering with the Centers Of Influence (COI) for small and mid-size businesses.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Analyze various COIs for small and medium sized business for opportunities as potential referral partnerships
  • Develop relationships with existing contacts and COIs to gather, in a consultative fashion, their interests in engaging in various types of referral partnerships
  • Coordinate with management to evaluate new opportunities, to conduct due diligence, and to structure mutually beneficial arrangements
  • Coordinate with internal resources to ensure we provide sufficient value to referral partners and comply with any arrangements
  • Manage relationships for any existing referral partnerships to ensure we stay front of mind when opportunities do arise
  • Evaluate most productive referral partnerships and help develop strategies to drive productive growth of additional opportunities from those types of sources

This is the job for you if you:

  • Possess deep knowledge and expertise developing COI relationships and turning those into referral partnerships and opportunities for our sales team
  • Understand the various COIs who work with small and medium sized business
  • Feel excited about helping to build out our referral partnership program
  • Want to be involved in both strategy and execution of a new referral program
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Enjoy working directly with executives on innovative programs
  • Enjoy building mutually beneficial relationships with COIs
  • Feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change inherent in a dynamic environment
  • Are willing to place light outbound phone calls to potential referral sources
  • Are organized and detail oriented to track opportunities efficiently

Your Qualifications:

  • 5 years of B2B experience building referral partnerships
  • 3-5 years managing a team
  • Experience building a work function or department
  • Demonstrated experience in verbal and written business communication
  • 401K knowledge preferred
