The Opportunity:

Our IT/Technology Department is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to help execute on Salesforce initiatives, including a Salesforce implementation. You’ll be a key partner to the business; providing ongoing support of the Salesforce platform and managing its evolution to meet the business’ needs.    


The Day-to-Day:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem, including:
    • End to end workflows and business rules
    • Data flows and dependencies
    • Integration points and timing of jobs within and between systems
    • Security model and access provisioning procedures
    • Reporting requirements and understanding of reporting environment
    • Universe of AppExchange offerings
  • Partner with the business to understand their processes, needs, and future business objectives to facilitate product vision and direction setting
  • Gather and document solution requirements
  • Manage system configurations
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Troubleshoot issues within Salesforce and answer user questions as needed
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
  • Maintain product documentation, including product roadmap/backlog, system and process workflows, support plans, and training documentation
  • Fulfill project management duties on small to medium initiatives
  • Act as contact to vendors regarding roadmaps and future functionality; coordinate contracts and SOWs


Your Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Salesforce as an administrator, product owner, or business analyst.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification highly preferred
  • Demonstrated SQL proficiency to organize and analyze data
  • Demonstrated MS Visio proficiency, including the ability to create workflow and data flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of SDLC
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to multiple audiences, including various levels of management
  • Strong technical aptitude; learns new processes and systems quickly
