You’ll have a chance to use your creativity and be empowered to help establish the foundations for our newly create Private Client Tax Services Department. You will work directly with our Financial Planning Team to build our Tax Services for High Net worth Private Clients.


As Tax Manager, establish yourself as a leader in the firm and resource to the business—be the expert on Individual and Trust Taxes. You’ll start with taking on any projects by “rolling up your sleeves” to get the job done, but through the development of processes and procedures you can build a solid foundation for Private Client Tax Services and its role in developing our ability to a One Stop Shop Services. The amount of ambiguity in this position demands a motivated, experienced and adaptable individual who will come into the office everyday with solutions rather than questions. Be resourceful to find the answers you don’t know yet, including utilizing our existing relationships with external CPA’s.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with Investment Counselors and Portfolio Management to coordinate tax planning strategies appropriate for clients
  • Assist in the implementation of internal controls for the newly developed tax services
  • Work with the Financial Planning team to implement diverse projects to support the firm’s long-term strategic goals
  • Improve existing processes and methodologies
  • Conduct internal and external tax related trainings



  • 5 years working in Individual Tax Planning
  • CPA, EA (Enrolled Agent) or J.D./LLM in Taxation required
  • Experience with Tax Advice & Planning for the “millionaire next door”
  • Bachelor’s in accounting or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Tax
  • Technical tax knowledge
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management, organization, and analytical skills
