401(k) Solutions Client Service Associate (English and Spanish Bilingual) (2019-7983)

Camas, WA, United States

Job Description

The retirement plan space can be a complex and confusing market for small businesses and their participants to navigate – our mission is to work with small businesses to better their employee retirement plan needs.

Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit or a start up mentality? Then the 401(k) solutions group is the place for you. Our 401(k) group is still in its infancy; as we mold and adapt our business to better service our 401(k) clients, you’ll experience a startup environment, within the security of working at a well established firm. It’s a unique opportunity to flex your leadership skills.

In this role you’ll be primarily working out of our Camas, WA office, and will also be traveling to meet our clients on location. If you enjoy handling new and unique obstacles everyday then you’ll thrive in this high impact role.

The Opportunity:

  • As a 401(k) Solutions Client Service Associate, your time will be spent doing 3 primary things:
  • Operations – you’ll be responsible for handling the logistics of onboarding new clients
  • Customer Service – you’ll be helping our participants get enrolled in their plans and with any ongoing service needed
  • Projects – As the group continues to grow you’ll have the opportunity to support and spearhead side projects and new initiatives

You don’t need 401(k) experience to be successful in this role. It’s great if you have it, but we have all the tools and resources to train you to be a subject matter expert.

The Day-To-Day:

  • Become an expert in 401(k) operations and FI’s unique service offering
  • Travel around the country to sit down, one-on-one, with participants to enroll them in their plan and educate them on saving for retirement
  • Utilize your Bilingual English and Spanish language to effectively connect with participants
  • Learn to deal with ambiguity and cultivate your leadership skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required, otherwise no prior experience requirements
  • Deep understanding of the Spanish language – both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel
  • Flexibility and a will do attitude
  • Startup mentality

Why Fisher Investments:

Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:

  • 100% coverage of premiums for health, vision and dental insurance
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum
  • 20 days of PTO*, plus 9 paid holidays
  • 8 week paid Primary Caregiver Parental Leave
  • And much, much more

We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us a Top Workplace.

But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.

* California employees accrue up to 17 days of PTO and 3 days of sick time per year.
