Fisher Investments is rapidly expanding its reach, both domestically and abroad, which means there is an ever increasing amount of data to be turned into meaningful insights and decisions - that’s where the Business Information Team steps in. The Business Information Team turns the noise of vast data into actionable tools for decision makers across all levels of the firm. Thanks to the reporting you will manage, a Group Vice President may choose to green light a successful test program; an Account Executive may decide to focus more on the quality dimension of their initial appointments; a Client Operations Team Leader may realize an opportunity to more quickly and efficiently service a client’s need. These types of opportunities are enabled by the strong relationships that the Business Information Team builds with the business in order to foster mutual understanding and clear goals.
As a Junior Business Information Analyst, your day to day work will help other employees make better business decisions by providing clear, detailed metrics to groups and individuals across our firm. These projects can take many different forms and will require you to often navigate through ambiguous requirements. By adding context and clarity to a business unit’s data, you will directly impact their continued success by facilitating their ability to monitor and evaluate their group. You will continually adjust, improve, and troubleshoot our reporting to maximize its potential impact. Along the way, you’ll educate coworkers on the information available to them and align their needs with available resources.
Why Fisher Investments?
Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:
We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us as a Top Workplace.
But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.
