Overview

We are seeking to add a new member to our dynamic Fund Accounting team in Camas, Washington and you may be a great fit! As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for all fund analyses as well as answering any questions on fund activity. You will also be exposed to multiple divisions, where you will assist in developing and improving on processes and procedures. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy the technical side of accounting.

 

The Day-To-Day:

  • Prepare and/or review fund financial statements across multiple countries
  • Oversee fund audits and liaise with auditors
  • Prepare fund budgets, variance analyses, and proper coding of expenses
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting and financial reporting by fund administrators
  • Liaise with other teams within Corporate Finance to provide insight of business transactions and help analyze Firm accounting impact of fund activity
  • Provide accounting explanations to the business for client requests
  • Mentor and help train accounting associates 
  • Develop, implement and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Automate and improve existing processes and methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related discipline), or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • 3+ years of Accounting and/or Audit experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Financial statement review and preparation experience
  • CPA, international accounting, fund accounting and/or tax or public accounting experience preferred
