Job Description

The Opportunity:

In Talent Acquisition, we work every day to change the lives of candidates, while focusing on driving results for the business by attracting the best talent to the firm.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will be tasked with monitoring the vital signs of our recruitment efforts and detailing the strategy our teams use to attract candidates. Common efforts can include partnering with leadership in key business units, facilitating ongoing alignment meetings, running intake meetings, training/mentoring of Talent Acquisition staff, and supporting unit workforce planning. At any moment the Talent Advisor should have the pulse on progress towards our goals and be prepared to pivot if necessary.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Monitor hiring data such as volume, conversion, and lag. Additionally, TA’s will report on any anomalies while working on frequent ad hoc analysis and tactical data work.
  • Develop and support strategy in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team; determine who supports what goal and why. This can include where we search, what we call roles, how we post, etc.
  • Support process improvement and department initiatives throughout the Talent Acquisition group to build increased efficiencies.
  • Create hiring goals and update those as necessary as well as prepare weekly reporting for internal business units.
  • Anything and everything you can do to support the hiring process as there will be frequent need for flexibility and dynamic thinking.

Your Qualifications:

  • Can establish credibility and trust with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have high emotional intelligence and the ability to partner with leadership on high impact work, including delivering difficult messages when needed.
  • Have the ability to identify downstream impacts of certain processes/decisions on other groups or processes, and a genuine curiosity to find trends before they are prevalent.
  • Possess knowledge of existing project management processes and/or business objectives, and the ability to recognize potential gaps/issues for meeting those objectives.
  • Have mid-level Excel experience with the ability to work with data in more than one worksheet, filter data, and use basic formulas.

Why Fisher Investments:

Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:

  • 100% coverage of premiums for health, vision and dental insurance
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum
  • 20 days of PTO*, plus 9 paid holidays
  • 8 week paid Primary Caregiver Parental Leave
  • And much, much more

We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us as a 2017 and 2018 Top Workplace.

But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.

* California employees accrue up to 17 days of PTO and 3 days of sick time per year.
