Job Description

Our technology modernization effort is underway and spans a number of large, multi-year, highly complex programs imperative to Fisher Investments’ goals as we continue to grow and expand. To support these critical initiatives, we have established a Transformation Office to drive accountability, consistency, structure and transparency across primary enterprise initiatives. Beyond insuring successful execution of all relevant programs, the Transformation Office will work with senior business leaders to ideate and plan strategy, prioritize investments and create an ongoing benefits realization framework.

The Opportunity:

This key role will support senior members of the Transformation Office in evolving core aspects of the team’s role and responsibilities and manage execution of active initiatives.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Support and assist with early alignment between our business units, senior stakeholders and the Transformation Office with active initiatives
  • Provide guidance to create and improve key core capabilities, including program & project management methodology, strategy development and prioritization, resource planning, initiative budgeting, benefits realization, and enhanced KPIs & reporting
  • Help establish repeatable and consistent practices across our organization to ensure transformation programs are held to the correct standards
  • Manage complex initiatives between multiple stakeholders
  • Swiftly adapt to global business transformation needs while providing clarity and transparency to involved parties and business leaders
  • Analyze our current challenges and work toward potential solutions

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Transformation Office, Enterprise Program Management or Project Portfolio Management position
  • Previous experience supporting strategic initiatives, corporate strategic planning or organizational transformation
  • Experience managing numerous programs simultaneously across a medium or large sized company
  • Change management experience as it relates to projects and processes
  • Demonstrated history of influencing individuals and multiple audiences, including various levels of management
  • PPM or PMP certification would be a plus

Why Fisher Investments:

Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:

  • 100% coverage of premiums for health, vision and dental insurance
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum
  • 20 days of PTO*, plus 9 paid holidays
  • 8 week paid Primary Caregiver Parental Leave
  • And much, much more

We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us as a Top Workplace.

But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.

* California employees accrue up to 17 days of PTO and 3 days of sick time per year.
