Fisher Investments is looking for a creative learning expert with a passion for generating great training. In this role, you’ll practice the art and science of Instructional Design to develop eLearning and instructor-led learning solutions to build something amazing within our US Private Client Group. The Opportunity:


Fisher Investments has a deep commitment to the learning and development of all employees. In this role, you will be directly responsible for designing trainings and communications to support our learners whether they are new or seasoned professionals within the firm. You’ll work with a team of L&D professionals, subject matter experts and business partners to modernize and scale our training programs for continued growth.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct needs assessments and propose recommendations that support the overall training strategy
  • Translate business requirements in order to build effective training
  • Convert existing training materials from PowerPoint based instructor-led training to more modern modalities
  • Strike a balance between speed and attention to detail to deliver quality work on deadline
  • Use project management fundamentals to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of instructional design principles and methodology
  • Exhibit an aptitude for graphic and visual design appropriate to the business environment and training audience
  • Work both independently and collaboratively


Your Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of instructional design experience
  • Experience in instructional design and content development
  • Proficient with content authoring tools and development tools
  • Demonstrated ability to use ADDIE or other ISD framework to create content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
