The Opportunity:

In this brand new role, you will have the opportunity to help with the continued development of Fisher Investment’s active ownership program. You will work with a range of companies to embed environmental, social, and governance considerations in decision-making. Through this role, you will promote the adoption of sustainability practices worldwide.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Understand, identify and monitor ESG issues that could affect our business and be knowledgeable of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory trends
  • Assist with active ownership and engagement activities
  • Assist with reporting and production of ESG and sustainability reporting
  • Set up systems to measure the quality and quantity of corporate engagement
  • Help draft project briefs, proposals and other materials related to the overall program
  • Join select client and prospect meetings to serve as a subject matter expert
  • Serve as a point of contact with industry bodies and investor groups

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of full-time experience with an active corporate governance or related program in positions of progressively increasing responsibility including experience at a consulting, strategic advisory or government entity or closely related area
  • Broad knowledge of corporate governance policies, principles, regulatory frameworks and emerging trends, and of the landscape of leading institutional investors, experts and opinion makers
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
