Our Technology Department is now seeking a highly talented Telecom Analyst with experience supporting telecom systems and applications to join our team. In this role, you will perform a number of duties including providing general systems and application support, serving as an important team member on a variety of projects, and serving as an internal consultant to help optimize processes that leverage the Firm’s telecom systems and other technologies. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a background using systems analysis best practices, and a strong aptitude for learning new processes and applications. This position can be located in our Camas, WA, (near Portland, OR) office or our Plano, TX, (near Dallas, TX) office.  This will be a contract-to-hire or direct hire opportunity.


The Day-To-Day:

  • Partner with your business customers to understand their current and future telecom needs
  • Provide advice/alternatives to business partners for proposed process and system changes
  • Elicit requirements and develop functional specifications for maintenance items, enhancements, and project-related needs
  • Serve as a liaison between internal business customers and the Telecom Team
  • Assist with business case development and estimation for projects and other initiatives
  • Manage configuration of the applications you support
  • Provide Project Management duties, as needed, for small to mid-sized projects
  • Provide support for application-related issues
  • Develop and maintain application roadmaps for your assigned systems and/or applications
  • Coordinate testing to ensure system changes are ready for production use
  • Develop and maintain documentation and end-user training materials for your assigned systems and applications
  • Work with technology vendors


  • 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Analyst and knowledge of best practices and methods
  • A solid understanding of project management frameworks and their associated deliverables
  • An ability to build rapport and trust with Technology team members as well as business teams for the areas you will be supporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to confidently present to groups and management
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting telecom applications
  • Experience with queries and the ability to analyze data
  • Demonstrated proficiency with process diagramming
  • Experience working in Jira and Confluence is desired
  • Completion of a 4-year degree or equivalent experience
