Job Description

Overview

The Opportunity:

Fisher Investments is hiring a Direct Marketing Manager to drive strategy and execute campaigns nationally for our offline channels (TV, print and radio). This team is responsible for providing high quality leads to our sales force across the country and we achieve our goals through strategy, continuous testing and analytics.

While this is an individual contributor role, you will be responsible for managing the TV/Print/Radio programs to ensure we are driving quality leads to our sales teams. You will also be leading all of the strategic planning and buying activities to achieve lead volume and cost targets.

You have a demonstrated track record of using data to inform decision-making, experience building successful offline marketing campaigns, and the courage and intellectual curiosity to test new strategies.

The Day-to-Day:

  • The role has end-to-end accountability for US Direct Response TV, Radio, and Print channel performance
  • Lead all strategic planning/buying activities with agency partners to achieve internal lead volume, quality and cost targets
  • Closely monitor performance, test opportunities to improve results, and troubleshoot performance disruptions.
  • Communicate effectively to the Executives through written presentations, emails and monthly in-person performance meetings
  • Test new creative executions contributing to the development of the messaging with internal and external partners
  • Work in a cross-matrixed organization partnering with creative, analytic, technology, finance, and legal/compliance teams
  • Build and ensure adherence to annual budgets

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience focused on planning and strategy (either client-side or agency-side)
  • Direct response, performance or branded marketing experience with TV (radio and/or print a plus)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and the ability to interpret results or abnormalities
  • Successful experience partnering with and managing agencies
  • Strong drive for results, intellectual curiosity, and the courage to propose and test new strategies
  • Understanding of how offline direct response advertising works with other marketing channels like Digital, Direct Mail or brand advertising

Why Fisher Investments:

Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:

  • 100% coverage of premiums for health, vision and dental insurance
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum
  • 20 days of PTO*, plus 9 paid holidays
  • 8 week paid Primary Caregiver Parental Leave
  • And much, much more

We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us as a Top Workplace.

But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.

* California employees accrue up to 17 days of PTO and 3 days of sick time per year.

FISHER INVESTMENTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
