Overview

As the 401(k) Solutions Vendor Relations Program Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping support the 401(k) Service organization’s efforts in positively impacting the financial future of thousands of hard working Americans.  Join a group that has consistently grown 50-70% organically and likely will for the foreseeable future. The Opportunity:

This role will contribute to our organic growth goals by expanding and improving vendor relationships which are key to our ability to service existing clients and attract new ones.  You’ll drive client retention and new client sales through enhanced service provider flexibility.



The Day-to-Day:

  • Responsible for day-to-day relationship management of our retirement service provider vendor relationships (ex. recordkeepers, TPA, etc.)
  • Advocate on behalf of our clients with existing recordkeepers, TPAs and additional service providers to enhance our client service delivery
  • Build vendor focused policies & procedures, communication programs, and training for the Service organization and across the 401(k) Solutions business unit
  • Explore opportunities to expand our roster of recordkeepers and additional service providers
  • Help to negotiate service level agreements with our recordkeepers and other vendors
  • Coordinate regular check-in meetings with vendors including conference calls and visits to their offices and ours
  • Partner with Client Solutions, Retirement Counselors and Retirement Service Associate managers to improve current partnerships and rollout new vendors or solutions

 

Your Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working within the 401K recordkeeping space
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, internal clients, and other departments
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
