The Digital Workplace Team Lead is a visionary, highly technical leader who will set direction and will re-imagine how Fisher Investments employees will use their productivity tools, devises and services.This position can sit in our Camas, WA, (near Portland, OR) office, our San Mateo, CA, (near San Francisco, CA) office, or our Plano, TX, (near Dallas, TX) office. This will be a direct hire opportunity.
A successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability to build strong partnerships and relationships with other teams in Technology, Security and with key business stakeholders in order to understand their requirements and to translate them into efficient and effective technical solutions.
The Digital Workplace Team lead must possess strong end user expertise across various platforms and technologies like VDI, Remote Access, Mobility, Communication/UC, Collaboration solutions including Cloud based productivity applications like Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive. The right candidate must be well experienced in setting and executing a digital workplace strategy and transformation with heavy focus on end user experience, challenging the status quo, leveraging technology trends and industry best practice. Capable of driving technology innovation, developing and executing technology roadmaps and delivering measurable improvements and results. Must have strong governance and security expertise in managing and mitigating risk through establishing effective controls, leveraging security related tools, establishing and implementing associate processes and procedures through effective and collaborative partnership to Fisher Investments Security Team.
The Digital Workspace Team Lead will demonstrate strong technical leadership in driving key solutions for workforce mobility, take into account remote offices, OSP sales needs, BYOD, including emerging solutions like Desktop as a Service.
Must possess expertise in implementing and managing the end-point operational analytics and end user experience monitoring solutions. Must be comfortable defining key metrics and KPIs which will demonstrate efficient and effective utilization and consumption of end user productivity tools and services. Must have experience interacting with Procurement as well as Service Desk teams to insure license compliance.
The Team Lead will effectively manage the Digital Workplace team by setting goals, objectives, prioritizing projects and initiatives, conducting regular 1x1s, performance management and insuring proper staffing.
The ability to work a flexible off-hours schedule for planned and unplanned maintenance is required.
