The Opportunity:

At Fisher Investments, we are dedicated to building programs that provide employees with the training they need to be successful. As a Corporate Learning and Development Specialist, you will receive initial training on educational best practices and ongoing support from experienced Learning and Development professionals.  You will have the opportunity to pioneer the way we invest in Human Capital and leave a long-lasting impact on our firm. 

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Act as a point of contact for the corporate curricula
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to help design, organize, and execute major training initiatives
  • Handle scheduling and logistics associated with your assigned training program
  • Create and redesign foundational content for a virtual setting
  • Use adult learning principles for instructional design
  • Become an expert in the Learning Management System functions and expand our use of the system
  • Serve as a liaison for the business and consult on their training needs  

Your Qualifications:

  • Ability to structure and develop content
  • Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels of the firm
  • 1-2 years of experience in Learning and Development preferred
  • Basic authoring tool knowledge is a plus
