As the Human Capital Workforce Analyst, you will work with a newly established team to provide analytical support to leadership teams and decision makers across the firm. You will be at the center of analytics within Fisher Investments, working to derive new insights and build data infrastructure that enable us to build a stronger firm through better people decisions. Additionally you will help progress and implement the Human Capital data roadmap as it evolves to maturity.

The Opportunity:

You will play a central role in helping optimize our workforce through employee related insights to help build and further a diverse, engaged workforce. You will partner with leaders in Human Capital and across the business to improve people performance and planning through the discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in workforce-related data. Through these insights and optimization, you will help the firm achieve its long-term strategic goals.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Perform analysis on employee related datasets to find actionable insights and trends that support key decision makers
  • Construct data queries from multiple data sources to properly aggregate, model and prepare information for analysis
  • Help design and implement reporting from Human Capital data systems (Workday, iCIMS, etc.)
  • Create informative and effective presentations that can be used by Human Capital leaders for workforce development
  • Ideate new service opportunities to further our goal of supporting the firm’s talent development and management
  • Act as an expert on data flows from Human Capital data systems to data consumers and actively work to identify improvements in the data pipeline
  • Recommend business process or system enhancements to improve data quality and reporting capabilities
  • Adhere and maintain the Human Capital data governance model through proper documentation of data processes and definitions.

Your Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a quantitative or consulting based role using analytics & visualizations to solve business problems.
  • Experience creating reporting in common Human Capital Management Systems is a plus (Workday, iCIMS, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL for querying & modeling data; knowledge of R or Python a plus
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience collaborating across multiple groups, balancing competing objectives, and communicating with diverse audiences.

Why Fisher Investments:

Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:

  • 100% coverage of premiums for health, vision and dental insurance
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum
  • 20 days of PTO*, plus 9 paid holidays
  • 8 week paid Primary Caregiver Parental Leave
  • And much, much more

We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us as a Top Workplace.

But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.

* California employees accrue up to 17 days of PTO and 3 days of sick time per year.
