Fisher Investments is looking for an experienced Technology Project Manager to support our key IT Infrastructure projects. As the IT Project Manager (Infrastructure), you will be responsible for managing a full range of projects, including complex corporate and departmental projects as well as new implementations. As a global financial investment firm, we have many major initiatives that need an Infrastructure Project Manager’s expertise on. As a key member of the Infrastructure team, you will be involved in deploying new technology platforms, upgrading data centers and opening new office locations. The Opportunity:


As the IT Project Manager (Infrastructure), you will organize, plan and execute projects, ensure adherence to deadlines, manage budgets, help define the project’s goals, and oversee quality control. You will also play an important role in prioritizing and communicating time sensitive information and plans while building relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across the business. Your responsibilities also include coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver infrastructure projects according to plan. The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage and measure project outcomes against success benchmarks to ensure results deliver on customer needs, requirements and service expectations
  • Utilize Change Management principles to prepare and support individuals and the organization in leveraging new technology
  • Lead and motivate teams to ensure projects are delivered with a high degree of quality
  • Manage the project scope, budget, and timeline and evaluate the impact to the project if changes are made to these constraints
  • Identify and manage potential risks and issues. Proactively develop contingency and risk mitigation plans
  • Influence decision-making, obtain buy-in, and negotiate resources, scope, and timelines with project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project team members
  • Identify areas for project improvements to standardize and streamline processes for project efficiency
  • Utilize project methodology to ensure success of the project
  • Deliver effective problem solving and end-to-end project ownership to anticipate, and prevent issues before they become project blockers

Your Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience in Technology Projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, or other science field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with medium to large projects involving a combination of on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Experience with service rollouts such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
  • Knowledge and experience managing projects utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, JIRA, MS Project, and/or Project Portfolio Management tools
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with management, project team members, internal clients and consultants
  • Demonstrated experience influencing across all levels of the organization
