Job Description

Overview

Do you enjoy asking questions, proposing solutions to problems and improving processes? As a Portfolio Implementation Associate, you will improve your operational skills and rely on insights to make decisions. You will learn Fisher Investments’ unique investment process and become an internal resource for our client Relationship Managers. As a part of our Portfolio Management Group, you will support the investment process from start to finish while having a diverse range of opportunities for engaging work and professional growth.

The Opportunity:

You will translate the investment strategies designed by our Investment Policy Committee (IPC) into applicable orders for our trading team. Whether or not you have a finance background, your possibilities here are endless. We hire from all majors and backgrounds because we believe we’re better off with the diversity it brings. If you are eager to create value, we are confident you'll rise to the top. Reporting to your Team Leader and working with your mentor will help you develop skills that are transferable to future positions as you progress in your career.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Create and process orders for daily account maintenance and client cash flow needs
  • Code and manually build new clients’ portfolios
  • Provide trade rational and recommendations to client relationship managers, as requested by clients
  • Develop thoughtful solutions to further automate and scale our daily processes

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • You have set and achieved personal and professional goals
  • Produce quality work with a commitment to improvement while meeting a target timeline
  • Eager to work in a collaborative environment to support high-volume output
  • Connect with a wide array of audiences by phone and email
