The Opportunity:

The Technology Vendor Program Manager will report to the Vice President of Technology Management and oversee Fisher Investment’s Technology Vendor Management Program by establishing standards and providing support to guarantee a comprehensive and consistent manner of vendor evaluation, management and oversight. You will work with the lines of business and IT/Technology to select and manage external service providers for delivering defined IT services, while working to avoid enterprise risk.

The Day-to-Day:

• Manage the relationship and operational performance of Technology vendors, including overseeing all vendor lifecycle activities such as vendor performance reviews, contract renewals, and issues
• Establish standards and policies for Vendor Management
• Develop processes to streamline vendor selection, on-boarding, and performance reporting (scorecards)
• Oversee the license and account administration for Technology organization
• Understand market landscape for important technology assets including areas of business growth
• Coordinate with Procurement on execution and renewal of contract licenses and account administration

Your Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in vendor management and 7+ years’ experience managing relationships with large enterprise IT software or hardware vendors
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working in an energetic environment that requires collaboration across different levels in the organization (internal and vendors)
• Experience with different software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS etc.) and related support and professional services
• Explain important concepts and complex subject matter using both a clear and motivating approach
• Use insights to guide decisions while managing projects with different timelines and priorities
• React to program adjustments and alterations promptly and with ease
