Overview

Make a significant impact in the firm and join the Data Privacy Office (DPO) as a Privacy Associate. The DPO is leading the data privacy practices that help the firm to continue building our clients' and employees' trust and protect their privacy!

The Privacy Associate role is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your career at Fisher Investments. You will build relationships with Team Leaders and VPs across the firm and report directly to your manager who will aid in your development.

Please note; responsibilities for this role may evolve over time as the department matures.

The Day-to-Day:

• Develop your documentation management skillset by keeping multiple privacy documents up to date
• Maintain and report on Fisher Investment’s personal data inventory and develop privacy software expertise
• Respond to privacy inquiries received from various departments throughout the firm
• Learn about data privacy regulations for Europe, US and Canadian markets
• Conduct privacy risk assessments while enhancing your risk awareness skillset
• Research privacy topics based on privacy regulations
• Investigate incidents involving violations
• Maintain firm's personal data inventory in privacy software
• Prepare reports and insights for senior management and other important partners

Your Qualifications:

• Are excited about data privacy topics and documentation management
• Embody will-do and are ready to improve processes
• Can organize based on priority assignments
• You want to become a privacy professional
