Overview

You will work with Talent Acquisition and other departments to guide candidates through the employment application, background check, offer and onboarding process. This is the role for you if you enjoy serving internal clients and see the value in employee development.

 

The Opportunity:

 

This position will give you the opportunity to understand our hiring process from start to finish. You will have the chance to develop your soft skills and manage the complexity of keeping sensitive information secure. You are an important contact for all new hires.

 

This is an Associate-level position that will be based in Tampa, FL. You will report directly to the HR Manager.

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to guide hiring candidates through the application process
  • Review all employment applications; this includes working with the applicants themselves
  • Conduct background checks through assorted vendors
  • Work with Legal and Compliance, and hiring managers, to evaluate application results
  • Process offer requests
  • Automate processes including the background check, ensuring all systems are integrated
  • Present to all new hires during the New Employee Onboarding process
  • Provide general support to other specialized teams within HR

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Experience working in an environment with confidential information
  • Experience managing several projects and maintaining quality of work
  • Experience communicating with employees of all levels
  • Manage complexity and be flexible while coordinating across departments
  • Investigative and eager to improve existing processes
