Job Description


As an Operations Associate you will support the launch of Fisher Investments in Australia and quickly build your brand and network across the firm. You will process a variety of incoming documents and ensure consistency of communication and unparalleled service by working with managers to mitigate risks to the business and our clients. The broad scope of this role provides an excellent platform for those that hope to build scalable skills in financial services. You will report directly to the Client Service and Sales Support Manager who will aid in your professional development.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Work with client-facing employees across all departments and countries to ensure all external email communication is compliant, accurate, and professional
  • Learn and stay up to date with national and international regulatory requirements. Work with managers to recognize and mitigate risk
  • Identify and report time-sensitive inbound client emails to senior management to ensure they are addressed promptly
  • Review and summarize client responses for senior management to measure client sentiment
  • Review inbound packages/documentation to classify by group and recipient
  • Use image scanner to scan firm documentation into internal storage system
  • Process and edit electronic documents and attachments with multiple types of software
  • Prepare reports through Access and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) for external groups
  • Maintain coding of document templates for firm use

Your Qualifications:

  • A University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in an operational or back-office capacity within the asset/wealth management industry
  • Commitment to maintain quality of work while sticking to a timeline
  • Project management experience and capacity to prioritize based on priority
  • You are engaging and can connect with a wide array of audiences by phone and email
