Job Description


As a Performance Analyst at Fisher Investments, you will work on a team of respected performance professionals, dedicated to supporting all business units from within our Portfolio Management group. You will analyze and report our clients' performance while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


The Opportunity:


You will calculate and distribute investment performance and related analytics, verifying the integrity of data used for performance reporting and ensuring client-facing groups are expertly supported. This includes creating and maintaining composites, managing our GIPS compliance, monitoring performance and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting. You will report to the Portfolio Management Team Leader who will aid in your professional development.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Work with team to maintain our GIPS compliance and oversee our adherence in reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy and efficient reporting
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries, screening for unexpected investment portfolio performance results and analyzing the underlying data to provide valuable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal clients, providing guidance and coaching to help them understand performance
  • Lead projects focused on data accuracy and increased efficiency
  • Liaise with our technology teams to maintain and upgrade our performance systems

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience with performance calculations, and an affinity for ensuring accurate performance reporting
  • VBA, SSMS, SQL and intermediate Excel skills (e.g. functions, charting) beneficial
  • Ability or interest to interpret and validate portfolio investment results, attribution analysis, benchmark analysis and transaction/holding based analysis
  • Consistently produces quality work while coordinating across several departments under timelines
  • Experience managing several complex projects, using insights to guide decisions and improve processes
  • Excels in collaborative team atmosphere to achieve broader organizational goals
