The Opportunity:

 

Fisher Investments values face-to-face interactions with our prospects, clients and employees. Travel is an essential way to increase these interactions and introduce our investment philosophy to untapped markets. We are looking for a highly talented individual to join our Corporate Travel team in our Woodside, CA (San Francisco Bay Area), San Mateo or Camas, WA (Portland, OR Metro) office to help with our growing business. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Finance Operations, you will manage Fisher Investments' Corporate Travel team.

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage a team of Travel Agents, focusing on talent development, employee engagement and coaching
  • Collaborate with others to maintain and enforce the Corporate Travel & Expense policy
  • Negotiate preferred rates with hotels, airlines and ground transportation companies
  • Book domestic and international travel on behalf of all Fisher Investments employees
  • Create and analyze travel spend reports to identify areas for improvement

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business travel industry experience, preferably as a Travel Agent or Travel Manager
  • Familiarity with business travel management and practices
  • Understanding of Amadeus GDS
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, issue escalation and resolution
  • Use a customer-service oriented approach to develop business relations both internally and externally
