Overview

Are you an experienced Human Capital professional and enjoy coaching, guiding, and working with employees and management? Are you looking to help and support employees at all levels of the firm? Fisher Investments is looking for an Employee Relations Analyst to help build the Human Capital presence in our newest office location, Tampa, FL!


The Opportunity:

 

As an Employee Relations Analyst, you will coordinate your time and Human Resource expertise between employees, the management team, your teammates in Human Capital and our Legal & Compliance team on different employee matters. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Employee Relations, you will have the opportunity to lead HR trainings, oversee the employee exit process, be part of welcoming new employees during their orientation, and act as the go-to person for anything HR related at your site. Being part of a bigger Human Capital team, you will also work on department-wide improvement projects, workplace safety and more. 

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Oversee and address employment matters at your site
  • Ensure compliance with our employment policies and stay up to date on changing regulations
  • Help investigate and resolve any employee complaints or grievances
  • Manage the exit interview process
  • Act as the onsite point of contact for employee safety
  • Partner with management to anticipate and respond to employee and organizational issues
  • Provide advice to managers regarding personnel practices and firm policies
  • Oversee different employment HR trainings

Your Qualifications:

 

  • 3+ years of Employee Relations experience
  • Working knowledge of employment laws (wage and hour rules, antidiscrimination and harassment, how to address employee concerns, complaints, and investigations, terminating lawfully, etc.)
  • Prior experience communicating with all levels of employees and appropriate legal documentation
  • Ability to analyze situations and develop appropriate solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Workday preferred
