Overview

The Opportunity:

 

Empirical evidence is the foundation of financial knowledge and at its core is quality data. Your role will be an essential part of ensuring we have the best and most accurate data available. As a Data Program Manager, you will foster relationships with our largest data vendors, establish our internal data standards, plan future infrastructure and ensure appropriate data use across Research and Fisher Investments. Reporting to the Research Team Lead, you will develop our long-term strategic data plans with senior management, establish and refine internal processes, troubleshoot issues, recommend changes, enhance our proprietary datasets and improve overall ease-of-use across the department.

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage data vendor relationships worth $10M+ annually
  • Establish Research data standards and implement best practices, including ongoing education
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across the firm
  • Lead long-term strategic planning efforts for all future Research data needs
  • Collaborate across all Research teams and numerous departments around our organization
  • Develop, refine and improve our data vendor contract, invoice and approval processes
  • Ensure +150 employees data licenses are properly aligned with role needs
  • Guide department wide efficiency gains through centralizing data, highlighting areas for improvement and integrating new datasets

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in data and project management
  • Experience with data integrity management
  • Experience presenting findings to senior management
  • Previous vendor management experience is a plus
  • U.S. candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by date of hire
