The Opportunity:


The Data Analytics Team at Fisher Investments is looking for an accomplished Data Visualization Associate to help solve complex problems. We are looking for someone with a desire to learn analytical techniques, while looking past the numbers to tell a compelling story. Our team tackles complex questions by using data to improve the understanding of the state of our business. Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager, you will partner with business leaders to understand the business landscape and help senior leaders be able to make data driven decisions.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain reoccurring reporting for US Private Client Group (PCG) by using Access, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
  • Coordinate data sharing and collection between VPs
  • Aggregate complex ideas into easy to understand high-level overviews
  • Build relationships with diverse US PCG VPs to understand data visualization needs for one off projects and presentations
  • Partner with US PCG VPs and create quarterly presentations
  • Use data in graphs and charts to visualize important information
  • Partner with other groups to obtain information for projects and presentations
  • Create versatile objects, vectors, and graphics from broad concepts to match and amplify information in projects/presentations by using Adobe Illustrator/Canvas
  • Create complex animations for graphics, designs and texts for presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint

Your Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience translating data sets into relevant insights through presentation formats
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Canvas
  • Experience with Excel
  • Ability to translate quantitative findings into business decisions
  • U.S. candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by date of hire
