Job Description


Fisher Investments Europe (FIE) is a wealth manager offering portfolio management tailored to clients' long-term goals. Client assets are held at recognised European custodians and managed by Fisher Investments in the United States.


The Opportunity:


FIE is searching for an experienced Office Manager to run all physical office related operations at our London Canary Wharf location.


Reporting to senior management, you will hire and manage reception staff, facilities staff and manage the daily operations of running a safe and secure workspace for employees.


You will build and develop a small team which prides itself in operational excellence and outstanding client service.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage all third-party office vendor relationships
  • Oversee the on-site facilities team
  • Hire, train and manage reception staff
  • Ensure all office equipment is safe, suitable and up-to-date
  • Ensure all office Policies & Procedures are defined, documented and communicated to staff
  • Be the UK contact for several global departments
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an office management/operational role or equivalent
  • Motivated, willing to learn and adapt
  • A "working manager" who enjoys carrying out daily operational tasks
  • Understand and comply with documentation and timeframe requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient at Word and Excel, solid computer knowledge a must
  • Experience of industry-specific software applications
  • Candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by date of hire
