Strategic Initiatives has been established to drive forward enhancements to existing processes applying optimization and risk model technology. You will work closely with leadership to find ways to improve client outcomes while scaling and improving efficiency across PMG.

The Day-to-Day:
You will help identify move-the-needle initiatives improving client outcomes and/or process efficiencies through partnering with PMG teams and leadership
You will define and quantify the impact of improvements, test outcomes, communicate recommend solutions and support the implementation and training for solutions put into production at scale
You will support the prototype process and test production configuration settings for portfolio rebalancing and risk processes – work hands on with optimization and risk model products and develop subject matter expertise
You will act as a point person for day-to-day questions from various PMG team members and Investment Counselors regarding solution output
You will identify cases to test production improvements, summarize and elevate relevant information to key stakeholders
As you gain expertise, increased responsibility to train other PMG and Investment Counselor teams on the system capabilities and more advanced and complex support scenarios
Your Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a similar role with focus on portfolio construction, tax efficiency, portfolio replication, and large volume analytics
Experience working with optimizers, risk models, and products such as Axioma, Barra, Bloomberg, FactSet or Charles River
Advanced excel skills, including developing Macros
Demonstrated problem solving skills, including developing creative solutions
Experience prioritizing workload and time-management across various complex tasks
Ability to work through setbacks, challenges, or unexpected results
