The Role of an Investment Counselor in Costa Rica

As an Investment Counselor working in Costa Rica, you will spend roughly 50% of your day engaging with clients. These conversations mainly take place over the phone and cover topics like the stock market, the economy, current events and how these factors could affect the client’s portfolio. As an Investment Counselor, you will also have recurring conversations with your clients to discuss their goals, time horizons, and cash flow needs. You then share this information with our portfolio management teams, who create a personalized asset allocation for the client. You will be responsible for communicating the portfolio strategy to clients and answering any questions they have.

About 50% of your day will be spent on operational tasks, working with internal business teams, team meetings, personal organization, self-development and education, and setting yourself up for success in your day.
