Your work may include solving questions teams have about their sales results or proactively identifying areas for improvement based on your own analysis of the business.  You will also have the opportunity to lead and perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment that impacts groups within and outside of Sales, and will develop a broad understanding of the Fisher Investments marketing and sales process.  Your fact-driven analysis will be a key contributor to the success of Sales, which ultimately builds the success of the firm.


In this role you will:
•Work with sales management to support all phases of sales efforts to ensure accurate results in the data & analysis, leading both “day-to-day” analysis as well as complex problem-solving projects.
•Research and develop statistical analyses, optimization algorithms, and forecasting to improve the ROI of US PCG sales initiatives.’
•Work on business problems and recommend solutions to various stakeholders through quantitative analysis.
•Develop proof of concept solutions, and work with application developers to implement and maintain scalable products.
•Complete projects that require data mining, analysis, and presentation.
•Focus on deep dives into data to find problems or trends, reduce unnecessary cost and/or increase ROI, and drive better business decisions.
•Create predictive models to help generate ROI.
•Consult VPs on statistical methods of testing.


Ideal Characteristics:
•3-6 years of experience in analytics: data stores, data architecture, and related analytical tools
•Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
•Experience with large data sets
•Experience with machine learning methods for statistical modeling
•Proficiency in the following software packages:  MS Excel, MS SQL Server, R
•A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education/experience.  Strong math and analytical skills are needed
