Job Description

Overview

Are you passionate about helping people find their perfect career fit? Are you looking to leverage and grow your previous candidate sourcing experience? Are you craving a true career opportunity with limitless future potential?

The Opportunity:

As a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be strategically building search strings and Boolean searches, crafting creative and engaging messages to attract top talent, helping with initial screening calls, and assisting in one-off projects to improve our department.

You'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a peer group of sourcing specialists as well as other talent acquisition professionals alike.  You will be challenged in this role to think creatively and strategically, and will be provided the opportunity to help our team continuously improve our ability to identify and engage qualified candidates quickly.

Sourcing Specialists get constant exposure to Recruiters and Hiring Managers in multiple departments across the firm including shadow sessions, meetings, and trainings. Upon joining Fisher Investments, you will receive constant opportunities for professional development – including a structured training program to get you started, and ongoing training throughout your career. You will receive attentive feedback from peers and management regularly while gaining opportunities to participate in stretch assignments that will help you branch out from your existing skill set.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Strong communication skills that allow you to interact effectively with both internal and external clients
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Team player mentality with a positive and proactive will-do attitude that is consistent through difficult situations
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, or other candidate sourcing databases and tools
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and/or events simultaneously
  • Experience interacting with candidates, clients, prospective clients or vendors (preferred)
  • Prior experience sourcing candidates (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); including the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the firm
  • Action-oriented and strong drive for results
  • Ability to handle ambiguity well
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of reliability
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

If you want to build relationships and gain exposure across the firm while contributing to the reason why a candidate starts or continues their career with us, this role might be for you.

Why Fisher Investments:

Fisher Investments is a different kind of investment firm. We don’t come from Wall Street, nor do we believe we fit in with most of the finance industry, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. From unmatched service to innovative perspectives on investing, it’s the people that make the Fisher purpose possible. After all, it’s our people that enable us to offer the level of service that we do. And we invest in them accordingly, offering exceptional benefits like:

  • 100% coverage of premiums for health, vision and dental insurance
  • A 50% 401(k) match, up to the IRS maximum
  • 20 days of PTO*, plus 9 paid holidays
  • 8 week paid Primary Caregiver Parental Leave
  • And much, much more

We also provide a cumulative, continuous learning and development framework customized for every employee. This emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an award-winning work environment; we’re Great Place to Work Certified, and The Oregonian named us as a 2017 and 2018 Top Workplace.

But in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our employees want to make a difference in an industry that can do better.

* California employees accrue up to 17 days of PTO and 3 days of sick time per year.
