Senior Accountant (2019-8067)

Job Description


Senior Accountants are pivotal members of the Corporate Accounting team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for keeping Fisher’s corporate group accounting records up-to-date and in accordance with accounting standards. You will help maintain the integrity of multiple accounting ledgers, which provide critical information for senior management decision-making and for producing the firm’s financial statements, tax returns and regulatory filings.


You’ll play a key role in the corporate group’s annual financial audits, acting as point of contact for the firm’s domestic and international auditors. In addition, you’ll help our team support the firm’s international expansion efforts with our banking, regulatory and general accounting knowledge.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities
  • Prepare schedules for quarterly reviews, semi-annual reports and annual audits
  • Create and analyze corporate financial statements
  • Serve as a liaison between the firm and outside CPA firms
  • Automate and improve existing processes and methodologies
  • Develop, implement and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Work with the Finance team to implement a broad range of projects to support the firm’s long-term strategic goals

Your Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification required
  • 3+ years progressive accounting experience
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential information
