The Opportunity:

As a Space Planning Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating employee seat moves and processing guest seating requests for visiting employees. You will work closely with IT and Facilities to ensure all seat moves are carried out properly and efficiently. You will maintain accurate records of employee seat locations and maps of each Fisher office based on these moves. You will also document headcount projections by group and propose appropriate seating configurations based on availability. Additionally, you will assist with office launches and run point on a number of new Space Planning initiatives, such as Event Planning and Standing Workstations.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain accurate seating lists for designated offices
  • Review and coordinate employee seat moves
  • Serve as the point of contact between the business and IT
  • Identify and provide solutions that effectively meet the needs of the business
  • Process guest seating requests for US and European-based offices
  • Process the installation and removal of standing workstations
  • Review and coordinate TV installation requests
  • Organize on-site events ranging in size from team events to large-scale, department-wide summits
  • Assist with office launches for US and overseas locations

Your Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service and/or administrative experience
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking to complex problems
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
