Job Description


The Data Analytics Team at Fisher Investments is looking for a talented Data Analytics Associate to help solve complex business problems. We are looking for someone who not only has the agility to quickly learn new analytical techniques, but also someone who can look past the numbers and tell a compelling story. Our team tackles complex business questions using data to drive understanding of the current and future state of our business. You will partner with business leaders to understand the business landscape and help senior leaders be able to make data driven decisions.


The Day-to Day: 

  • Solve business problems using data analytics, business intelligence, and critical thinking.
  • Understand the data ecosystem, prospect and client behaviors, and business trends.
  • Partner with senior managers and executives to understand and address business needs.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior managers and executives with quantitatively driven analysis.
  • Work primarily in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and R.

Your Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience
  • Expertise in analyzing large datasets.
  • Proficiency in the following software packages:  MS Excel, MS SQL Server, Tableau, and R
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate quantitative findings into business decisions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Science, or equivalent combination of education/experience.  Strong math and analytical skills are needed.
