The Opportunity:


As an SAP Finance ABAP Developer, you will support development efforts for our SAP S/4 HANA Finance transformation implementation. We are embarking on a significant Greenfield implementation, moving our current GL system to S/4 HANA Finance on the cloud and concurrently reengineering finance processes to foster the next generation of business success.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Evaluate SAP roadmap, provide recommendations on tools, provide software and implementation strategies
  • Support S4 Finance solution configuration and technical development
  • Perform quality checks, code reviews and enforce industry standard development practices
  • Engage with IT delivery partners and implement industry standard solutions leveraging the go-forward platforms
  • Support change management and business adoption of technologies
  • Participate as a member of cross-functional development teams, and perform analysis of complex business requirements

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology or related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience working with S4/HANA, including the FI/CO module
  • 4+ years of experience with Hana Cloud Platform/SAP Cloud Platform, ABAP for S4/HANA, PL-SQL, Hana Analytics, HTML5, JS, BW/4, ODATA and REST-based web services
  • Experience with at least one full life-cycle SAP Finance implementation focusing on Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Record to Cash and Acquire to Retire
  • Strong finance domain and SAP business process knowledge, and the ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization
  • Hands-on experience implementing user exits, enhancements, report and transaction objects, scripts, BAPIs, internal and external integration technologies
