Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is the birthplace of writer Oscar Wilde and home of Guinness beer. This lively cultural city is located on Ireland's east coast at the mouth of the River Lilley. Dublin's world-class museums and galleries house fine art collections ranging from the medieval era to modem. Popular sites Include the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane and National Museum of Ireland.

Schools
The Irish education system is made up of primary, second level, third level and further education. Education is a requirement for children ages 6 to 16 or until students have completed 3 years of second-level education. High-quality public education is offered to all children, and Dublin also has a number of private and international schools.

Getting Out of Town
Ireland Is rich with historic landmarks and scenic beauty. In a day trip from Dublin you can travel by bus, car, train or organized tour to a memorable destination. Wicklow Mountains, Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle, Kilkenny Castle, Giant's Causeway, Belfast, Connemara and Kerry are some recommended sites.
